Lets talk low income housing and affordable housing.  Though used interchangeably there is a difference.  For this post I can use the term low income housing or LIH.

Together with other partners and stake holders we want to build lots of LIH apartment complexes.  Thins will be done differently though.  Instead of only 10% of built units to be made available for working poor families, we will have 90% available.  Too our apartment homes are to be energy star certifiable.

 Lets talk briefly about Greta Thurnburg. She is a Swedish woman who brang to the worlds attention 

the imminent crisis of climate change we are living in.  I am on board with her, so are millions of other people. 

Then Naomi Klein a climate change activist and author who too is raising awareness about climate change. Then there is Concept E-3 soon to be a 501 (C) (4) Social welfare organization and basically the worlds janitor.  Cleaning up messes wherever they lie, restoring bio-diversity, Planting lots of vegetation and other important things.

For myself I finally figured it out, education wise I am becoming a sustainability engineer.  Spiritually n environmental Bohdisattva. Meaning that with the worlds help, that means you,  myself, others and concept E-3, together we can clean up humanities' messes. Working with nature to find that happy medium for what humanity needs and nature needs.  For over a century Humanity has been doing this wrong.

Cleaning up humanities pollution takes an army of workers. cost a lot of money, and puts a lot of positive energy out there.  Economic wise I agree with Kate Raworth.  The world needs a new economic model for the 21st century.  Enter Kate Raworth's doughnut economics.  It taste good, well not really but if this model was practiced globally, it would slloe for sn International, "New Green Deal".

 Gee 2020 turned the world upside down.  Massive job losses, losses, business closings and crazy weather.  2021 SERIOUSLY

Globally lots of Christians and Jews have been killed.  More deaths on the way,  North Korea, Iraq probably want to see the world burn...if they can profit by it.  WWIII is a possibility.  If it happens, this war comes to American shores.  

Maybe I am wrong but I would  not bet on it.  What you might consider is The Holy Bible has a lot  of insight about our world today.

True more boring and routine jobs will be replaced by smart technology systems.  Like  the ATM
and the ordering kiosk at Mc Donalds and Taco Bell.  Then all of them self serve registers in your favorite grocery stores.
Oh do not forget ALEXA, SIRI, and my favorite Google Assistant on my android phone.
So A.I. and robotics are going no where else but every where on Earth and in space.
We have robotic surgeons, not quite like on star wars but yep, going there.
So a lot of people lose their jobs, and they can get different ones if they retrain.
What is another affect of A.I. is the development and utilization of bionic systems.  Lee Majors and Jamie Lee Summers had their hey day on television.  Truthfully we cannot get a bionic arm and lift tractors but if needed the stronger limbs can handle that bag of potatoes.
Part of the reality is that lifting lots of weight requires a really strong graphine composite structure.  Do not forget the connections to the Human body.  Our bodies get stronger with weight training because of stresses applied.  The same thing may work with our bodies becoming adaptable to our
new and improved  prosthetics.  The difference between really cool prosthetics and bionic prosthetics is the bionics prosthetics use your nerve endings to convert impulses to movement.
So again welcome to the digital age.

Prevention of transplanted organ rejection

IRF4 is the marker that T- cells use to fight infections and reject transplanted organs.  To date Houston, Texas Methodist University has identified this biological .  Currently if you can prevent the expression of this gene,  no organ rejection.  I on the other hand having a background in environmental engineering wonder about a better way.
I wonder if a transplanted organ was identified as belonging to the host , will this solve the organ rejection problem.
AIDS does this.  Makes factories that fool the bodies auto immune system.

Another thought, Lupus is a suped up immune system.  If a person with lupus was given say something like the aides virus.  Would the lupus immune system beat it?

Uh,  okay. I was reading an interesting article in Forbes about predictions for A.I.
We are getting closer to the vision offered in the movie' A.I. ' by Steven Spielberg'
Unlike greedy, selfish persons, AI gets it.  What AI gets is that knowledge should be shared.

If humanity is to solve our problems of mass starvation and we want to explore space, we have to do stuff differently.  We have to share, knowledge, resources, practice better distribution of food and clean water resources to others whether or not a poor people can pay for this basic stuff of life.

As a planet we need to clean up our oceans and restock all of them fishes we have been harvesting for years.

This and so much more.  Nature has to be put back in balance.  yep us humans who messed up stuff to earn a living can clean up stuff to allow us a better chance to survive.

AI, and the internet need policies. The internet should be left open for peoples opinions and sexual proclivity's to be allowed with no harm to the ISP providers.  What people post is their opinion and some things like burning cats alive with a propane torch are sick, but you can leave the video.

AI programs itself.

Truthfully what matters is who the originators of a source code are, just to keep an eye on things.  

Using autonomous AI to kill people, not a good idea.  We are find as humans killing ourselves with the tools of war.  Other than AI.  We let the genie out of the bottle.  Human kind has built its' own digital god.

Welcome to November, 2017

This is me again this time sitting at a pretty solid 291 pounds.  How did I get here, how can you get to where you are wanting to be at. I can tell you what I have learned.
1) More muscles means more calories being burned at rest.
at 300 pounds I can lose 3 pounds every couple of days pretty quickly.  Being over 50 exercising more often is of paramount importance.  Diet.
What can I say about this.  Easily skinny people need more fats.  Athletic people are fine.  Us endothelial pear shaped bodies our friend is fats, carbohydrates are the villain of this story.
Given our brains burn carbohydrates for fuel, we need them just not the corn syrup version available in such massive quantities here in America.

If you are skinny have an extra al you can eat buffet this month.  If your just fat, do exercise, use your body by not always parking close to the entrance at your favorite store.  Too much muscle, like too much money, not happening.  As we get older we adjust to our "energy (calorie conserving) saving" actions.  Not a good thing if you want to feel and look your best.

Enjoy your holidays and eat well with family and friends if you are so blessed this Thanksgiving and Christmas
