Look good naked, 2015 Update 50 and older.

 New Season new installment.
The next thing I want to talk about is fighting theaging process. Currently I am weighing at about 290# When I started this seriesI was at 276#.  Funny thing is I had more fat then.. When you start growing older your body changes again. If yourlike me your the last generation called baby boomers.

We are living longer.  So change is going to happen.
When Iwas in my 30's I had been exercising for about 12 years.  This is me all natural no pharmeceuticals.

What about you.  I am the classic hard gainer.  Every ounce of muscle is hard to come by.  Losing fat, this is the weird part, to lose fat I have actually had to eat more.  The idea of losing weight by cutting calories is
only half right.
The other half is that you keep yourself in a calorie deficient state for a long time, your body is going to retain fatat the expense of losing general health.  It is better to eat small meals more often than to eat really big meals onceor twice today. What if you like myself.  You can't eat really good all of thetime because you just don'thave the money.  Their is a weight management technique called "Pulsing."
For instance you get your monthly retirement benefit or your bimonthly paycheck.
What you can do once a week, if available,go to a buffet
and really eat a lot. One plate at a time, it is a buffett but eat what you get.  Don't leave a plate of food uneaten. It shouldn't once every weekor two. Lets get back to reaching 50 and beyond.  Men and Women do not be afraid to join a gym and lift those weights too.  About aerobics before weight training, afterward, not such a good idea.   Here is another thing, As we grow older and nature starts to fight us, frequency of exercise is important.  Back when you where in your 30's if you miss a or two of exercise you lost a little of your endurance and strength.  Now in your 50's not a good idea.  It seems if you stop your activity 'cross fit', 'bodybuildin', whatever, for over 3 days in a row,   Nature says hey you don't need that muscle or endurance after all.  So let's just take away those physical improvements..   For now "Nuff Said"  your friend and I hope future US President,  Steven Childs. Let's all "Look Good Naked."

looking good naked and arthritis

Arthritis, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis as well as others.  Arthritis is inflammatory  response.  Since it is an inflammatory response we can address arthritis with foods that help your body deal with arthritis better.  Like all things "looking god naked" exercise plays a vital part in dealing with this disease.  Now my all important disclaimer,  " I am not a doctor" this advice is from my learning to deal with arthritis since my parent has it.  This means I am susceptible.  Not uninformed.

Anyways movement is what exercise is.  If you are dealing with arthritis (an inflammatory response) you do not want to hurt your joints.  My exercises of choice are Tai-Chi and gentle Yoga.  Tai-Chi is about moving energy and is a gentle form of exercise.  If your just getting signs of arthritis keep moving since right now pain is not an issue.  I pick yoga since flexibility and the mind to muscle connection are involved to make you present in this time.  As we advance more can be done to keep our mind and body healthy.  Me I am a bodybuilding enthusiast.  Since I am in my 50's flexibility is now an issue.  So I'll keep training and take my own advice and bring into play yoga and soon Tai-Chi.

Now lets talk nutrition.  Some of this information comes from Livestrong and the American Arthritis Foundation

Some people practice a low fat diet.  All fats are not the same.  If your just reading the nutrition label for fat content your 1/2 way there.  The next item to look at is types of fat. Polyunsaturates and Omega 3,6,and 9 are okay.  Your body does need fats to function.  When dealing with arthritis you also need a better balance between Omega 3's which are found in eggs and cold water fish and omega 6's which are found in avocado and some nuts.  Then there are omega 9's which are found in some oils such as canola.

The right fats are important as well as a mix of foods with "sulforaphanes".  These are compounds found in garlic, onions, and leeks. Which help with reducing inflammation.

I trust this information is helpful.  Also visit www.concepte-3.blogspot.com for mre about our environment today.  I am an environmentalist and with your help we can build Concept E-3 into the worlds largest and most proactive environmental association dedicated to environmental clean-up and RESTORATION.

We only have one Earth,  Join me today.   Steven Childs

look good naked diet

This is fun.  After talking to lots of slender peopleI have learned its not their diet it is their lifestyle
that makes all of the difference.  So lets see what hac\ve you done lately?  Sometime ago I asked you to recoerd ypour weight then to list all of the foods you were to eat the next 2 weeks.  Take your weight again and now it would be great to get affel for the calorie content and potion sizes of food and beverages you consume.  Coffee, tea, and water are free beverages.  unless you use lots of sugar I wouldn't be concerned about calorie content.  What are some of the lifestyle choices that your more slender compatriots make.  Some are dreadful things like salads without salad dressing.  Others are eating less food than they put on their plates.  Unless you like leftovers or like waisting food I would not encourage this.  The technique does work though.   Here is your affirmation;  " I eat to live.  I do not live to eat."
Lets talk about the value of flavoring.  I would go with some Mrs. Dash seasoning blends.  Seasoning is a good way to eat less food and feel more satiated.  Having bland foods just is not going to work.  At least 1 cheat meal a week is okay.  If you raise your physical activity like walk to the neighborhood convenience store instead of driving  just a block or two.  Take more stairs more often and even 2 at a time.  (more of that lifestyle stuff).  Take the family dog for a walk everyday not 10 minute but more like an hour,  Your best friend  dog needs the activity too.

Foods to eat more of are vegetables.   Many vegetables require more calories to digest than they offer and some fruits too.  Canned fruits taste good but look for the ones in juice not corn syrup.  If you have a crock pot put it to work and keep some great tasting soups, beans, and other foods prepped for those sudden hunger urges.  The danger zone for food is between 45-165 degrees.  Above this keeps the bacteria at bay.
If you have a phone with a camera take some pictures.  If you are somewhat 'portly' lets have some fun.  Take a body shot get it reproduced and draw contour lines where you want your sexy and better looking more slender self.  Next time we will hit the gym.   Steve
