Billion dollar business plan

Maybe not so fast.  I have never even counted to 1,000,000,000.  I remembered Warren Buffet lamenting that it is hard to find a good billion dollar opportunity.  Liked Koche industries if you werer worth billions why would you even want investors.

I do agree though with Buffet's style of investing.  When you do not aquire companies you do stay around for years.  That is how true wealth grows.  If I had a few measly millions I would get lots of homes here in Baltimore for about $5000 or less.  I would then spend the money to fix up these homes.  Then I would make them available to working class individuals.  Truth is 1000's of jobs are coming to Baltimore.  Most of which pay you only enough money to go back to work the next day.  I do not like to see individuals and families struggle with the cost of 'rent'.  Thats why I am seeking lots of investment capital.  nationally low income housing is at a crisis level.  There are never enough affordable places to live.  With a national minimal wage scale of $7.25 P/H  If you even work full time you only gross $290.  Most people in most service and retail jobs only see at most $250.00 per week.  If the laws say you can only spend 1/3 of your income on rent,  then $333.00 is the most you could pay and still eat too.  show me who is doing this and I will say it is city housing. 
Here is a deal.  Invest lots of money in lots of homes.  Give them better insulation and tight building envelopes.  This will save lots of money on heating and cooling.  Help these homes save energy and conserve water.  Make these homes afordable for low income families.  You will never have a vacancy.

Look good naked, exercise solution

While it is time to make an update.  I like a well toned body.  Muscle is a more metabolically active tissue than fat.  Not to mention a well toned body is a more slender and appealing body.  Now it is time to seek out a fitness center or gym.  The first visit ought to llead to a complimentary pass for a few days.  The best exercises for building muscle and burning fat are hands down the squat and the 45% leg press.  This is since legs that are used a lot burn a lot of calories.  If you happen to be in a wheel chair go for the manual variety.  If you can only use your upper body for burning calories then use your upper body.  Even if you cannot physically use your legs you can use your arms to facilitate transfers.  Transfers to a machine for some upper body exercise. 

If you can use all of your appendages (arms and legs) then we can get started.  The first exercise are mentioned above.  Using your legs will burn calories.  Using your legs to the point of fatigue is also beneficial for your bodies hormone levels and a great de-stressor.

Next on the list is the bench press or chest press.  Then there is the lat pulldown and the pull up.

See how easy this is.  Squats, Bench Presses, Wide Grip Chins or Pulldowns.  You have successfully worked your body. 

So start with these 3 and try lots of other things out.  Women do not worry about looking like a man.  This would take a lot more time and effoert than what I gave you.  Everyone can benefit by having a stronger body.

Exercise is what you do.   Reps is how many times you move a weight.  Sets is how many times you do the reps.  So 3 sets of 12 reps means that you are to complete a given exercise for 12 reps...3 times.

CNG as an automotive fuel

I am first going to direct you to www.concepte-3.blogspot.com for more environmental and science info.This is hot off of the presses.  In Utah 1000's of people had their vehicles converted to use CNG as well as gasoline as a transpotation fuel.  The last time I checked using CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) as a transportation fuel only cost about 85 cents per gallon of gas equivalency. 
The reason I am mentioning this here is that here in the Baltimore -DC corridor I will start to work fervently to bring this choice to you.  Personally I feel using CNG is a lot about National Security.  That double barrell shotgun called gasoline does a lot.  Not only do we rely on unstable nations to get this stuff but our military has FOR YEARS DEFENDE THESE COUNTRIES OIL WELLS AND PRODUCTION INFRASTRUCTURE.  WORSE YET WE ARE NOT BEING PAID TO DO THIS TO MY KNOWLEDGE.
many of these countries we get our oil from also fund the terorist we have been fighting for years at great expense.  Visit www.younkincng.com for more information.  I am hoping things work out so that we Marylanders can soon enjoy saving money on our fuel purchases and unlike gasoline, our states can regulat the price of Natural Gas.  This is important since back in the 1970's you could buy a gallon of gasline for 28 cents and diesel was only 2cents a gallon.  really  What happened is detroit started making diesel powered trucks for individual use.  Look at prices today ans see what happened.

This is fun.  After talking to lots of slender peopleI have learned its not their diet it is their lifestyle
that makes all of the difference.  So lets see what hac\ve you done lately?  Sometime ago I asked you to recoerd ypour weight then to list all of the foods you were to eat the next 2 weeks.  Take your weight again and now it would be great to get affel for the calorie content and potion sizes of food and beverages you consume.  Coffee, tea, and water are free beverages.  unless you use lots of sugar I wouldn't be concerned about calorie content.  What are some of the lifestyle choices that your more slender compatriots make.  Some are dreadful things like salads without salad dressing.  Others are eating less food than they put on their plates.  Unless you like leftovers or like waisting food I would not encourage this.  The technique does work though.   Here is your affirmation;  " I eat to live.  I do not live to eat."
     Lets talk about the value of flavoring.  I would go with some Mrs. Dash seasoning blends.  Seasoning is a good way to eat less food and feel more satiated.  Having bland foods just is not going to work.  At least 1 cheat meal a week is okay.  If you raise your physical activity like walk to the neighborhood convenience store instead of driving  just a block or two.  Take more stairs more often and even 2 at a time.  (more of that lifestyle stuff).  Take the family dog for a walk everyday not 10 minute but more like an hour,  Your best friend  dog needs the activity too.

Foods to eat more of are vegetables.   Many vegetables require more calories to digest than they offer and some fruits too.  Canned fruits taste good but look for the ones in juice not corn syrup.  If you have a crock pot put it to work and keep some great tasting soups, beans, and other foods prepped for those sudden hunger urges.  The danger zone for food is between 45-165 degrees.  Above this keeps the bacteria at bay.
If you have a phone with a camera take some pictures.  If you are somewhat 'portly' lets have some fun.  Take a body shot get it reproduced and draw contour lines where you want your sexy and better looking more slender self.  Next time we will hit the gym.   Steve

An Endangered Species

It turns out that we are all very much part of a global village. The smoke stacks in China affect the air quality over the oceans.(The USA did this too!)   The rainfalls and the Ocean receives this polluted water. The trash you throw on the ground today winds up in the river you used to play in as a kid tomorrow.  The businesses that should pretreat their waste water but chose not to save a dollar. Along with the farmer who does not practice land based nitrate retention (lots of trees).  As well as the million of people driving their cars usually with only themselves and no thought of carpooling.  Their exhaust spewing out tons of mercury, monoxide, nitrogen more.  Everyone of these people this would be you and I.  All contribute to the environmental degradation that all of nature pays for.  Even creating polluted infiltrate that manages to find its way into our undergound streams that supply us ou drinking water. 
    All ot hese things nature does her best to deal with. As a race though we tend to overload all of these natural systems that are meant to keep our air breathable and our water drinkable.  As a Ecosattav I tend to think the Earth is alive.  Many people would disagree with me.  One thing though that thes same people can agree on is that the Earth is a "complex system".  Designed to maintain oxygen balance in our atmosphere and to keep 'The Water Cycle' going.  We have succesfully interrupted the water cycle.  Let me give you an example.  Let's say you are cooking smoke fills your kitchen.  You now find it hard to breathe.  You have overloaded natures abilitity to disperse pollutants in the atmosphere.  This happens outside too!  America has great clean air laws but China does not.  However since she is aving a few dollars China enjoys a trade surplus.   So does Taiwan.
     Now it is time to take the blinders off of our eyes.  It is time for us to see the amount of environmental degradation on is caused by mankind.  Squirrels don't pollute, people do.  Again it is time to stop pointing our fingers and wagging our tongues. Saying I didn't throw that trash on the ground.  Does not keep it out of the Patapsco River.  Saying too that I don't throw lit cigarette butts on the ground, does not make them break down. (20 years from now those cigarette butts still will not have broken down.) People this is not about what is or in't your fault.  This is about what is. Globally the carbon in our atmosphere is at 387 ppm.  Global temperatures are up 1 degree Celcius.  Science tells us that 350 ppm of carbon is the upper limit for Earth to work as she has.  The oceans are full of carbonic acid.  This same carbomic acid interferes with calcium absorbtion, so shell fish have no strong shells  Jelly fish thrive since we have killed off their predators.  Permanent brown and purplish algae blooms are everywhere.  Nature is out of balance.  The 4th horseman of the Apocalypse is waiting to ride.

exotic dancers News and Commentary

I am alarmed by the amount of adult entertainers that use drugs.  My thought is if you cannot perform without using drugs, get out of the business. 
The reason this is here goes back to self esteem and such.  If you are a male or female exotic dancer and you use drugs, quit doing the drugs. 
Here is a beter mind set.  As an exotic dancer you are in the business of entertainment.  You do not have to be ashamed to display your body.  When you are on the stage or with that prop you are in the 'entertainment business".  Thes similar NO DRUGS stance goes toward any other entertainer whether they be escorts, models what have you.  When you are on stage get rid of the jiggly fat through diet and vigorous exercise.  BE THE BEST Entertainer you can be.  Give your audience a great show be sexy and alive full of energy and maybe some of that animal magnetizm.  BUT STOP THE DRUGS!

Be the best dancer or entertainer you can be.  This whole thing is about your mind set.  Most of your customers are enjoying their fantasy.  They usually spend a lot of money too!
So go ahead get the money and if you feel guilty give some to charity and mayb some people that just need a little cash.  stop paying the drug man or women to die slowly.

improving your self image.

In my many years of research and application I have found that 'Affirmations' are the fastest way to start making positive changes in your life. 

Lets say you are worried about how f-a-t you lookand that you feel worse because no matter what you do, the weight does not go away.  Or worse yet your image of yourself is distorted.  Lets take a crack at it/

Affirmation: I am becoming a better me.  I am making lots of changes. I eat better, read books more often and I am exercising and taking better care of myself every day.

Since many people throw their trash on the ground, even burning  cigarette butts. If this is you...

I am taking better care of myself by taking better care of my planet.  I throw trash away in the trashcan and I am recycling too!

Self Esteem, forming habits

As promised here is an entry on self esteem.  In all of my years of research and practical application the fastest way to develop a new habit or to feel better about yourself is... (drum roll please).

The affirmation or statement of your intention.

Let me help you get started, since I am an environmentalist, I have an intent of mine own here.

RECONNECT WITH NATURE:
I enjoy being outside and enjoying natural beauty. To this end  I affirm to throw all of my trash away in a trash can.  I encourage other people to do the same.  Even those nasty cigarette butts so popular with many people.  I enjoy being outside after a rain shower and I enjoy the scent of fresh cut grass.

A BETTER ME:
I love my planet and all nature has to offer.  I am now paying attention to the foods I eat and the words I say.  I do not use bad words anymore.  I am reading more to enrich my mind.  I enjoy exercise that strengthens my body and increases my endurance.  I am working everyday to be a better more empowerd and inspirational me.

These affirmations are guidelines.   Look at yourself, really look at yourself in the mirror but focus on geeting to know the person you see so much better.

Affirmations can be written down and read aloud to yourself.  This way they begin to work for you.

Americas Energy Future Deuce

Back to natural gas.  The Obama administration is fully aware of the importance of securing our energy future. 
America now has a lot on natural gas available and we can make more just by using 'Waste Digesters' to capture more 'methane'.  This being the predominant gas in natural gas.  The gas does not smell in the waste digesters, the waste being worked on by beneficial bacterium is what smells, well ,like flatulence!   (I thought you would get a laugh out of this.)

Here is what is happening today.  Some of our elected representatives want to sell our natural gas to foreign countries in the form of LNG.  Okay we all like money, but... (You knew this was coming, didn't you')
We can encourage our state and federal representatives too work together.  We can communicate our desires so that our States as well as The FED will work  to initiate a National program of developing the infrastructure needed to support using natural gas as a transportation fuel.
This would also be a pretty darn good US Economic Stimulus Package.  This as well as an intrastate MAG-Lev train system. (More about this later, jobs anyone?)
This  is kind of what my business unit "Renewable Energy Solutions"  (TM),  has been trying to do. 

 As an ecosattav my primary motivation is healing the grievous wounds we have given our planet.  This followed by the understanding that man can work in harmony with nature so that many of our wants and needs can be provided for in and environmentally responsible, socially conscience and get this sustainable way.

Eating to melt bodyfat.

This is for all of you men and women who want to 'Look Good Naked'.  Most fresh fruits and vegetables and even the stuff in cans requires more calories to digest than they give you in nutrients.  This is why Grandma always said "Eat you ruffage".  In modern times this would be the fiber found in many plants.

This is why eating  more fresh fruits and vegetables (Canned stuff works too) seems to "melt bodyfat".

If I forgot to mention ice cream is low on the glycemic index if it is the good premium stuff with all of the calories and cream that make ice cream a heavenly treat.  This is because of the fats used to make it.  These fats (creams) slow-w-w down the digestion of the carbohydrates. 
Remember fats and carbohydrates are not your enemy.  The enemy is more calories consumed than expended.  So be sure to move that body of yours.

Are you growing older?  I am.  So to be more active get up and move. 

Next I will give you the SECRET to enjoying 'grapefruit'.

Todays recipe is 'Egg plant Casserole'.
Peel and dice 1 or 2 eggplants.
 Boil in slightly salty water until the eggplant appears darker and more tranlucent.
Drain thoroughly.
Make crumbs with saltine crackers or bread. Put in bowl.
 Add 1 large egg or two medium ones. Mix in bowl with cooked eggplant.
Add shredded cheese.  Mix thoroughly.  Bake in oven safe dish for enough time to melt that gooey and delicious cheese.  Serve fresh.  A properly baked egg plant casserole will slice like a cake or pie.

look good naked (Macros' with Steve)

I begin this  by bringing up something.  All of the macronutrients are often identified by calories in grams.
But what does this mean to you?  How about instead of saying alcohol gives you 7 calories a gram I say alcohol gives you 196 calories per ounce.  Now by the ounce you better understand the energy value of food.  I am also using the knowledge that 28 grams = one ounce.

So lets get cooking  Fats are not your enemy.  This is because fats are used to make all the hormones your body needs to work good, such as testosterone. 
Fats weigh in at 252 calories an ounce.  These are concentrated nutrients to keep you warm in the winter.

Alcohol is next at196 calories an ounce,  ( I do not like light beers since the only way to reduce calories is to reduce alcohol content.)  What is the point of drinking some beer other than to get buzzed? So when you buy light beer, GOOD for the brewer but BAD for you since you are paying more money for 'water'.

Proteins weigh in a only 112 calories an ounce.  Proteins are used by the body for muscle tissues and veins, and arteries, rocovering from injuries,  This is because proteins are made of amino acids which are the building blocks for bodies.

Also carbohydrates weigh in at 112 calories an ounce. Carbohydrates are important since they are the first choice for energy. What makes me go hmmm is that in a healthy individual their 3 pound brain burns 35% of the carbohydrates they consume.   Calories not carbohydrates are what determines our bodies fat stores and even energy demands.  Due to 'Glucogenesis' anything we eat in excess may be stored as fat .

Vitamins are a lot like spark plugs in that they are reused to lock and unlock food molecules so that your body can digest the foods you consume.
Minerals such as iron in our blood that allows our blood to carry oxygen I can understand.  I think mineral are more like the chemist's regents in that they aide in creating a myriad of chemical reactions.

a little bit about food

Okay so you want to 'look good naked'.  Did you get your food journal?   Here is the plan for planning your meals.

Take a dinner plate.  If it is spaghetti and meatballs just fill up the plate and enjoy, do not forget the bread and butter.  What if dinner is Hamburger, french fryes and a milk shake?  Make sure you get your veggies.

Now here is "the plan".  3/6th  of your plate should be fruits and vegetables.  2/6th's should be your protein source.  The last bit is for desert, I would rather use another plate.

What kind of

This is commentary.  first day of school in Maryland and someone is already shooting peers for thrills.  We have songs with lerics esrousing the greatnest of rape, killing, dope running and more.  Our kids listen to this stuff a lot.  We have wonderful games to kill aliens and others to get street cred.  As a parent it is s-o-o-o very wrong to discipline our children and (gasp) have them do chores.  What happened America?  When I was a child if you mis behaved you were punished.  The CPS social worker did not come knocking on your door because you whipped you BRAT!  When I was bad I was a BRAT!. If I mined then I was a good son.  I want to start a 'SUPER PAC' called American freedoms.  10 years ago our children shooting other kids meant something yet today tomorrow this 'tragedy' will be yesterdays news.
This ship called The Republic of Americans needs to be righted.  It is not criminal to punish your children.  I will reitterate when I was growing up in the 60's the worst thing we did in school is chew gum and cut in line.  That day needs to come back.  We as citizens of this great Republic need GOD back in the Schools, The court Houses, and at City Hall.  No longer should it be wrong to punish our children and yes they should wash the dishes, keep their rooms clean and take out the trash.  The fracturing of The American Family needs to stop.
This will only happen when we as individuals (children and adults) make a decision to be the best person we can be today.

An endangered species

A wise man once said "We don't inherit the Earth from our parents.  We borrow it from our Children."  I agree.  The  thing is we have a lot of problems to deal with.  Such as ocean acidity destroying coral reefs.  Interfering with shell fish's ability to grow shells in the first place.  how this happened is some polar ice melt.  More green house gasses were released and the Earths baseline temperature is one degree Celcius higher.  Continued human population growth and waste generation has led to more nutrients and acifiers being in the ocean.  The extra warm temperatures cause chemical reactions as more carbon finds its way into the warmer oceans.  Warmer waters, extra phosphates, and nitrates creates a more acidic environment.  Jelly fish bloom and other predatory fish species die.  And mankind is the cause of these problems.  We are the solution too.  Environmental clean up is costly and labor intensive.  As long as we want to focus on making profits now,  monies will not be spent to solve our environmental problems.  THE EARTH WILL DO FINE WITHOUT US.  If we want to continue to live on this planet then we have to fix some things.  I want to encourage you to check out my other blog, Concept E-3.  I heard on the redio today that the Dallas, TX 911 board has been fielding a lot of reports of Mosquito bites.  Seems that a few years ago I did not even here of "Bird flu" and "West Nile Virus".  THE SOLUTION IS NOT BUG SPRAY.  Rather the solution is more natural predators such as 'Bats' and 'Dragonflys' .  These gobble up mosquitoes and other bugs quite nicely.  Bats are an important insect control measure in Austin, TX.  In Florida the mosquitoes are controlled by bug spray.  Here is the problem.  The bug spray kills Dragon Flyes too!  Mosquitoes are a commodity insect a food source if you will.  They breed in the 100's of 1000's.  The Dragonflyes do not.  The mosquitoes come back and the dragonflyes do not.  This is NATURE OUT OF BALANCE.   We pay in blood.
